It 1st appears in a 1/22/1911 ad.

2) 2nd address was 311-313 W. Main. Ads show that the move occurred 9/25/1921.

3) 3rd address was 418-420-422 W. Main. Multiple "congratulatory" ads (most by the new buildings contractors & subcontractors) to H-L on its new building occurred in the 3/28/1926 Oklahoman. This info also corrects what I earlier said about the date that the new building was constructed.Doug Dawghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14287287108412180656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31117373.post-28028566070383542562007-09-13T21:20:00.000-05:002007-09-13T21:20:00.000-05:00A couple of things, anon ...1) Oklahoma City didn'...A couple of things, anon ...

1) Oklahoma City didn't exist until April 22, 1889, so if the pics were marketed at Harbour-Longmire in Okc, they would have been painted before Okc was open to settlement.

2) Harbour-Longmire was a large and very nice (according to reports) furniture and furnishings store constructed in 1925 or 1928 at 420 W. Main in Okc. It may have had an earlier location, I don't know offhand. An image of the building during construction is here: During Construction ... the building still exists but is largely used for City of Okc offices these days ... today's building, the Main Place building. If this isn't enough information, post again and I'll see what else I can find.

Thanks for posting!Doug Dawghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14287287108412180656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31117373.post-15523935538846577862007-09-13T17:11:00.000-05:002007-09-13T17:11:00.000-05:00I have have two pictures that are pretty old I hav...I have have two pictures that are pretty old I have been trying to find out when and where were Harbour-Longmire Art Galleries Fine Picture framing company was located in okla city. The pics are dated 1867 and 1870 they may even be reprints.
