Show me a lawyer who breaks the thing down by legal issues which are involved, instead of some "55-60% chance of winning" (or losing, for that matter) type thing, and then I'll pay that person some mind and respect. Sound bites just don't cut it when you're in the courtroom, they only cut it on TV and in the funny papers.Doug Dawghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14287287108412180656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31117373.post-60648951587938324452008-05-21T23:36:00.000-05:002008-05-21T23:36:00.000-05:00I am assuming that you have read Lester Munson's (...I am assuming that you have read Lester Munson's (ESPN legal analyst) take on this issue. He believes that the Schultz suit has a 55-60% chance of winning. Since he is familiar with sports law and you admit that you're not, which one of you would you consider to be the "expert" on this issue. Remember his lawyer is not a hack. He's done this before (to MLB) and they wound up backing down.

The convential wisdom on this lawsuit is that it won't even see the inside of a court room. the NBA can't afford the embarrassment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31117373.post-50053677713817815412008-05-12T18:52:00.000-05:002008-05-12T18:52:00.000-05:00doug dawg is supportive of pro bball in OKC? who ...doug dawg is supportive of pro bball in OKC? who woulda thunk it?
