21ST STREET. The tour continues on NW 21st Street, driving east. There are a couple of unique items on this street ...

This Art Deco House Was Built in 1938

This unusual home was built in 2003. I seem to recall that historic variances were granted for some good reason but I can't recall what it was.

This nice lady and gentleman actually asked me to take their picture! In all of the tour, they are the only people close-up shown!

Sunbeam Family Services has a long and rich history. The image shown below is from Edwards, Oliphant and Ottaways' Vanished Splendor III and shows an image taken sometime after 1907 when Lizzie D. Swisher founded the Sunbeam Children's Home ... the picture shows an early building on the same property presently occupied by Sunbeam Family Services.

22ND STREET. The final street on the tour begins near Robinson on NW 22nd and proceeds west toward Western. Although not part of University Addition, Robinson to Walker on the north and south sides of NW 22nd are part of Mesta Park.
